Taking the Secret Stairs in to The Rabbit Hole inside The Retro Arcade

Hi, Z-Man here inviting you to join me today (Friday, November 8th, 2019) from 6 to 9 pm Eastern as we take a trip back in time inside The Retro Arcade on Magic109.com! Don’t worry, you won’t need to go into a storage closet in a diner, find a set of secret stairs and no one named Al is going to insist you go back in time to change history because he was not able to complete the task. Just sit back in your easy chair, grab a good book and enjoy some great music from the ’60s through the ’90s, from rock to pop, dance to country, and pretty much anything else that came out before the turn of the century. I’ll also have the usual “Back in My Day Story” or two, things that many of us dreamed would exist back in the dark ages and now they do, TV moments many of us will never forget, Stephen King will be the subject of this weeks Retrospective, his book 11/22/63 was released on November 8th, 2011, and I’ll play a few of the songs mentioned in this book. Plus, a few classic songs mentioned in other Stephen King books; including The Stand, Carrie, It, Pet Cemetery, The TommyKnockers, and maybe a couple more. I’ll also have trivia, take your requests, and whatever else pops into my head. With that said, no matter what level of The Dark Tower your version of Earth happens to be on, you are all welcome to hang out with me this evening (Friday, November 8th, 2019) from 6 to 9 pm Eastern, right after The Rockin’ Pop Party hosted this week by Geno J and Alternative Ash, exclusively on Magic 109, the only station breaking the radio dial!

A Musical Burgoo on The Retro Arcade

One of our local communities (Utica, Illinois) has a huge annual fall festival built around it which celebrates it’s 50th year this weekend.
