Normally, I don’t post the podcasts of the Meltdown to the announcements list, but due to all that’s going on in our society, I felt it was important to share Tuesday’s show with all of you. We played the usual great mix of tunes, had the cover comparison, and your requests. Also, I touched on topics affecting our nation and the world as a whole. Some of you may not agree with what I had to say, and some of you may. Throughout the course of the episode, I do offer you ways to reach out and have your opinions heard, either via text or by sending me a voice recording I can air. For that reason, I’m sharing both the MixCloud and non-MixCloud links to the show for those of you who missed it or would like to hear it again. Our discussion of current events starts at around 2 hours and 40 minutes into the show.
The show opened with a Christian set, meant to set the tone for the evening. If you have comments, concerns, complaints, or would like your voice heard, follow the instructions given throughout the show, and I’ll try to get your thoughts aired in coming weeks. Coming soon, we’ll also be incorporating TeamTalk into the on-air side of things, so you the listeners will be able to join me live for discussions both serious and fun.
Normally a listener of Groovin’ with Izzy on Thursday nights from 6:00-9:00 PM East/3:00-6:00 Pacific? Unfortunately, Izzy won’t be with us this week, but I’m stepping up to bat, and trying my hand at a fill-in for her awesomeness. Musically, we’ll be all over the place. Rock, country, Christian, secular, pop, and anything else we can pull out of the musical hat.

Alternately, you can still go to https://www.magic109.com/request and select Wes Derby from the drop-down instead of Izzy, and send your requests that way. Anything goes. Not all material will be suitable for all ages, but we’ll do our best to keep it somewhat family-friendly.
