Hello, Z-Man here. One of the things that I have noticed is when people get off work they turn on the news and end up in a worse mood then when they got home, If you are one of those people (and I used to be one myself) I am inviting you to turn off the TV, give yourself a break from the 24-hour news cycle and start a new routine by rediscovering the joy of listening to music with me inside The Retro Arcade, tomorrow (Friday, February 7th, 2020) from 6 to 9 pm Eastern on Magic109.com! No talking heads allowed here, Just great music and memories from the 60s through the 90s, including rock, pop, alternative, grunge, country, dance and maybe a bit of comedy from artists like Johnny Horton, Ace Freely, PM Dawn, and Aretha Franklin. There will be a musical history lesson in this week’s RetroSpective and unlike history class when we were kids, feel free to chew your gum, blow some bubbles, pass notes to your friends, and order a pizza as I will play songs about historic events. I will also have a bit of bubble gum pop as we celebrate national bubble gum day on February 7th. But wait! That’s not all! You will also get trivia, some “back in my day” stories, forgotten TV game shows, and whatever else pops into my head. So? Instead of getting off work and turning on the news, or that talk show that seems to put you in a bad mood, start a new more positive routine by joining me inside The Retro Arcade, tomorrow (Friday, February 7th, 2020) from 6 to 9 pm Eastern, right after The RockIn’ Pop Party with Geno J, exclusively on Magic 109, the only station breaking the radio dial!
