Wes’s Musical Meltdown Is Back For Another Exciting Week!

First, I want to thank everyone who made the first week of Wes’s Musical Meltdown on Magic 109 such a huge success. Thanks for the requests, the interaction, and the feedback. In ten years of doing internet radio, I can honestly say it was one of my most listened to broadcasts! Of course, I think a lot of that is due to my co-host, the lovely Alicia, as well as you, the listeners, spreading the word. You are appreciated more than you know!

Tuesday night, we’ll be back at 7:00 PM East for another week of musical insanity. We’ll have a new Cover Comparison, we’ll talk about last week’s results, and we’ll play your requests. Also, lots of new tunes from all over the musical spectrum coming your way. We’ll have a set we’ve called the “Rebel” set; you’ll have to tune in to see what we mean. Of course, knowing me, I’ll touch on sports and current events from the past week as well.

I do intend to hang out on Team Talk during the show, so listeners are welcome to come up and join us. I haven’t set things up for Team Talk to go out over the air, but that’ll come one of these days.

In exciting news, we also have a new show intro! I haven’t had a cool show intro in so long, I’ve sort of forgotten what that feels like. Thanks to Alicia for her voice talent assistance, and offering me feedback throughout the production process. Tune in, and let us know what you think.

Finally, I’m going to provide a few useful links related to The Meltdown. Posting of these links does not constitute endorsement by Magic 109’s management or ownership. If you want to support the artists we play, during the show, visit http://wesderby.net/playingnow.html, click the purchase links, and buy the songs and albums either digitally or physically.

See you tomorrow night on the radio! Get those requests in, and join us for what I hope will be an excellent show.
